What Customers Say About DeWalt DW9153 6-1/2-Inch 90 Tooth Paneling and Vinyl Cutting Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor:

I purchased this believing the 90 tooth format would yield smoother cuts in plywood (its a paneling blade). Brand new out of the package, my first cut on plywood was horrible. So I took it off and put a brand new Freud Diablo 24 tooth on to see if it would do better. Both cost the same within pennies. Don't make the same mistake I did. The 24 tooth Freud cut the plywood extremely smooth with no effort, whereas this DeWalt tended to bind and load up while producing unacceptable levels of tearout.

The Freud blade is carbide thin kerf, whereas this DeWalt is probably stamped steel. I've had better cuts with dull framing blades. Wrong. Difference was night and day. Both blades brand new. Both bought from Amazon. Theres no comparison.

this Freud D0624X Diablo 6-1/2-Inch 24 Tooth ATB Framing Saw Blade with 5/8-Inch Arbor is the way to go.One cut and this blade is going into the trash.

I bought this for my cordless Ridgid trim saw in order to cut plywood and some other thin finishing materials.Pros:1. Good price2. Worked well for cutting plywood and other thin materials (including some finishing materials)3. Amazon Prime with free 2-day shippingCons:None

This blade does a great job when used with my DeWalt 18v cordless saw. I also bought the Irwin 11820 6-1/2-Inch 140 Tooth as another option and it bogged down even with a fully charged battery. This blade cut smoothly and didn't strain the saw nearly as much. I guess that you get what you pay for as this blade cost a little over twice as much as the Irwin.
